Tables

I can build custom tables to your desired measurement. Tables are mortise and tenon and then glue under pressure.

I build Drop Leaf Tables and Kitchen Tables

Drop leaf tables are 36 ” wide by 40″ for the rectangle tables and round tables are 36″. All tables are 30″ height unless you desire a different size.

We usually use Wormy Maple, Hickory and Sapele ( which is a wood from South Africa, It looks a lot like Mahogany) . But we can do whatever type of wood you want. Price will vary depending on size and wood.

It is my desire to build quality furniture at an affordable price. My hope is that it will serve you well and last for generations. I will work with you in creating a design that you love and help with selecting the wood that you may want. To ensure the furniture can withstand the test of time, each piece is crafted with the finest hardwoods and proper joinery techniques.

The design of your furniture is an integral part of creating a piece that will be both functional and aesthetically pleasing for you. Each piece is tailored to fit your home fulfilling a specific function. The dimensions of the overall piece and the layout and size of the functional details of the furniture are custom made to meet your needs.

I normally use Wormy Maple, Hickory and Sapele (from South Africa, Looks a lot like mahogany ). But I will use whatever wood you want. I try not to use stain so that it is easy to maintain over the years. No stain will make Pine look like Walnut, for example. so it is important to choose the species that achieves the look you desire. When investing in a high quality piece of furniture, the lumber is only a portion of the overall cost, and it is well worth choosing the actual species versus attempting to artificially color the wood.

About your craftsman

Meet Jon Wolfe

I have been living in the Burlington N.C. area since 1966. Began working with wood around 1978 when an older gentleman began teaching me about building furniture. He taught me how to build furniture to old school way.

Over the years, I have been working with wood building furniture. I decidedĀ  in 2022 to semi retire and start a small company building furniture for people at a reasonable price.
